This original CARROT appetizer will decorate any holiday table! She looks amazing and elegant! Guests will appreciate not only the appearance, but also the taste.
On Easter Sunday, such CARROTS will be especially appropriate on the festive table. You can also prepare such an appetizer for a children's holiday.

Cooking the original CARROT appetizer is easy. It is enough to bake puff pastry the day before and fill it with a delicious salad on the day of the holiday.
If you are looking for an original appetizer for the holiday table, this is the best option. CARROT appetizer - beautiful, bright, tasty and unusual!

Ingredients:

  • yeast-free puff pastry - 1 kg
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • tomato paste - 1 tsp. l.
  • parsley - 1 bunch

Filling:

  • tomato - 1 pc.
  • cucumber - 1 pc.
  • boiled chicken fillet - 500 g
  • boiled eggs - 4 pcs.
  • cheese - 100 g
  • mayonnaise - 4 tbsp. l.
  • salt - to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe

1. Let's prepare the tubes first.


For their preparation, you will need 1 kg of puff yeast-free dough.
We take a piece of dough and roll it out a little into a rectangular sheet with a thickness of about 3 mm.
Cut the dough into long strips 2 cm wide.

2. Roll each strip of dough onto a tube cone. The cone itself does not need to be lubricated with anything. We lift the dough a little from the table and wrap it with an overlap on the previous turn. Please note that the dough does not need to be stretched when winding, otherwise it will crack during baking.
At the end, glue the dough very well to each other so that the tubes do not turn around during baking.
My straw cones are 9 cm long and the larger diameter is 2.5 cm.

3. Transfer the prepared tubes to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Since the tubules will be carrots, it is advisable to give them an orange color.
To do this, take one carrot and three of it on a fine grater. We shift the grated carrots into gauze folded twice, and squeeze the juice out of it.

5. In order for the juice to be even brighter, add 1 tsp. l. tomato paste. We mix everything.
Lubricate all the tubes from above with the prepared paint.
I got 28 tubes.

6. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 20 minutes.

7. Now let's prepare the stuffing for the tubes.
We cut one tomato into four parts, cut out the seeds from it. Cut the tomato pulp into cubes.

8. Cut half of a long cucumber into very small cubes.
500 g boiled chicken breast cut into small pieces.

9. Three boiled eggs on a coarse grater.
100 g of cheese is also three on a coarse grater.

10. Put chopped meat, cucumbers, grated eggs, cheese and tomato in a bowl.
All a little salt and pepper. We fill 3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise and mix well.

11. We transfer the prepared filling into a culinary bag. If it is not there, then you can use a tight bag or fill the tubes with a spoon.

12. We take out the cones from the cooled baked tubes. They come out easily.
We fill each tube with cooked salad.

13. We tear off small stems from parsley and insert them in a small bunch from above into the salad. It turns out such a cute carrot.
So we turn all snack tubes into carrots.

The Carrot Appetizer turned out to be very unusual, tasty and satisfying. Both adults and children will want to try such an appetizer. You can also stuff the tubes with other salads of your choice.
