In this recipe, I want to share with you one of the ways to mold homemade yeast cakes. This unrealistically beautiful cake with cinnamon FLOWER will surprise all your relatives and friends. Such a cake can be prepared not only for home tea drinking, but also served to guests. The cake turns out not only unusually beautiful, but also incredibly fragrant and tasty.
You can prepare such a FLOWER pie from any ready-made yeast dough. You can use my recipe
NIGHT YEAST DOUGHwhich I used to make this pie. Or you can make the dough according to your favorite recipe. Also, instead of cinnamon, you can put poppy seeds or cocoa in the filling of the pie.

Ingredients:

  • yeast dough - 1.2 kg
  • vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.
  • sugar - 4 tbsp. l.
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tbsp. l.

Step by step recipe

1. Let's prepare the filling first. Pour 4 tablespoons into a bowl. sugar and 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon. We mix everything. You can also make a filling with cocoa or poppy seeds by mixing them with sugar.

2. We take a ready-made yeast dough and divide it into 4 approximately identical parts. The total weight of the dough I have is 1 kg 200 g.

3. Knead each piece of dough a little to make a ball. Roll it out into a round cake. The diameter of my cakes is about 25-27 cm.

4. We take the first cake and put it on a sheet of parchment paper.
Lubricate the cake with odorless vegetable oil. Sprinkle the top with cooked cinnamon sugar.

5. Cover with the second cake. Grease it in the same way with vegetable oil and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

6. Cover with the third cake and repeat everything again. Softened butter can be used instead of vegetable oil. We cover with the last, fourth, tortilla. It doesn't need to be lubricated.

7. With a knife, mark the cake into 8 identical parts.
Cut the pie all the way to the bottom without cutting the edge. So that the knife does not stick to the dough, each time we dip it in flour. So we cut all the parts.

8. We take a round stick and push the dough between the cuts to the very table. I use a wooden spoon handle. You can also use a wooden paintbrush handle or take sushi sticks. For convenience, turn the cake along with parchment.
Cut the edge a little in the pressed places.

9. We take the two ends of the resulting petal and glue them together from below. The place where the gluing is tucked under the bottom. In this way we glue and turn out all the petals.

10. Transfer the pie to a baking sheet.
To make the places with cuts even more dispersed, we again pass with a stick between them, while pressing it well to the very bottom.
Cover the cake with a clean, dry towel and leave it to proof for 15-20 minutes.

11. The cake has already come up, put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Readiness is checked with a wooden stick.
At the end of baking, if the cake is heavily browned on top, but not yet baked enough inside, cover it with parchment paper, lower the temperature in the oven to 170-160 degrees and bake for another 5-10 minutes.

12. We take out the finished baked pie from the oven and cover with a towel. Let it rest like this for 15 minutes.
While still warm, grease the cake with odorless vegetable oil or butter so that it acquires a beautiful appetizing shine.

The cake in the form of a flower turned out to be very beautiful, fragrant and tasty. You can cook it from any yeast dough. You can definitely surprise and delight loved ones with such a cake.
