A difficult time does not shine with an abundance of products, but you always want to eat. For a variety of lean food, I decided to cook delicious and unusual pies from tomato dough with pea filling. This yeast-free lean dough can be used for any pastry, and ready-made pea patties are ready in minutes. Of course, you can choose any topping that suits your current budget.

I cut the onion into small cubes. I fry the onion, bring it to readiness and let it cool.
DOUGH
I mix tomato juice with vegetable oil, dry ingredients and knead the dough.
Knead the dough until smooth, about 5 minutes. I put it in a bowl and put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
PEA FILLING
I soak the most ordinary dry peas overnight. In the morning I wash it and fill it with clean cold water.
The water level is above the level of peas by a couple of centimeters.
I bring the peas to a boil and remove the foam. Add salt, cover with a lid and cook until the peas are completely softened.
I add fried onions to it, mix and remove the pea filling in the refrigerator.
BAKING PIES
I preheat the oven to 180°C.
- I take the filling out of the refrigerator and form the pies.
- Lay them seam side down on a baking sheet.
- I put it in the oven for 20 minutes.
