Unusual zucchini dough pies will pleasantly surprise your whole family. They are fragrant, very tender and incredibly tasty. These squash pies are perfect for a snack, as well as for lunch or dinner. This recipe for vegetable pies is a great way to diversify your daily menu!
Zucchini pies with sausage and cheese are prepared from the simplest and most affordable products. Plus, this recipe is super easy and quick. You can put not only sausage and cheese in the filling, but also ready-made minced meat or fried mushrooms.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • zucchini (zucchini) - 700 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • flour - 100 g
  • salt - 1/2 tbsp. l.
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Filling:

  • ham - 100 g
  • cheese - 70 g
  • parsley - bunch
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • vegetable oil - for frying

Step by step recipe

1. Let's prepare the dough first.
On a coarse grater, three 700 g zucchini or zucchini. Since my zucchini is young, I rub it with the peel. More mature fruits should be peeled.


Salt zucchini with half tbsp. l. salt and mix. Leave for about 10 minutes to let the juice flow.

2. While the zucchini is resting, prepare the filling.
100 g of ham three on a coarse grater.
70 g of cheese is also three on a coarse grater.

3. Chop a bunch of fresh parsley with a knife. You can also use dill or green onions.

4. Put prepared ham, cheese and parsley in a bowl. Here we squeeze 1 clove of garlic through the press. We mix everything. The filling is ready.

5. The grated zucchini has already released its juice. Squeeze out excess liquid with your hands and transfer to another bowl. Here, break 2 eggs into a bowl and pepper to taste. We mix everything.

6. Pour about 100 g of flour and mix again. The consistency of the dough should be like pancakes.

7. In a preheated pan with a small amount of vegetable oil, spread 2 tbsp. squash dough. Immediately spread it with a spoon into a round cake. On one side of the cake we put about 1.5-2 tbsp. prepared stuffing.

8. Gently fold the cake in half, covering the filling with the second half of the cake. We press the edges so that they stick together.
Fry the pie until golden brown first on one side. Then flip over and fry on the other side. Remove the finished pie from the fire. So we fry all the pies.
From this amount of dough, 6 pies with filling were obtained.
To make the process go faster, you can fry in two pans at once. As a filling, you can also use ready-made, not raw minced meat or cooked mushrooms.

Pies with ham on zucchini dough turned out to be very tasty and satisfying.
