Now add to fat 2-3 cloves of garlic (to squeeze through the press or chopped finely) and distribute it throughout the piece. You can add any spices, which I enjoy.
Take the most common plastic bag, put back the fat, add a bay leaf and a few peppercorns. If the piece is large, cut them into 2 pieces and put in different packages.
Package tying and drop into a pan of cold water. Cook bacon for 1.5 hours. Then take out the pack, waiting for the fat to cool completely and then untie and serve.
