Ingredients for firewood:

eggs
flour
milk
butter
vegetable oil
salt
sugar
sugar powder for sprinkling (optional)

Mix in a bowl 2 eggs, half a teaspoon of salt and sugar to taste. If you love sweet twigs, then add more if unsweetened, something smaller. I put 1 tablespoon of - I think it's just the perfect balance.

Pour half a glass of milk. Then melt the water bath for 50 g of butter, Let cool slightly and add to the other ingredients. I do not recommend adding the hot oil, because eggs can roll up, so you need a little bit cool.

And the last ingredient - flour. I put her in the eye to provide elastic dough consistency as cakes. Knead the dough well, it should not stick to hands. Cover with cloth, leave for 10 minutes.

Then roll out the dough into a thin layer, thickness of about 3-5 mm, cut into small strips of length about 7 cm, and do "fagots": in the middle of each strip makes an incision and both ends are threaded through him. Well, or do any other way that you like.

Firewood fry in a large amount of vegetable oil on both sides until golden. Brushwood is fried very quickly, in just 1 minute on each side, so do not move away from the plate.
