If the budget you have limited, suggest to make a simple but very tasty sandwiches with herring and beets. It turns out very tasty, hearty and not expensive!
Preparation:
We will need 1 salted herring. We clean the fish and cut into fillets. Cut into small herring a la carte pieces. If you feel like messing with herring, you can buy a ready to cut fillets or presservy.
Cook one beets until tender, cool and rub on a grater. Add 1 clove of garlic, squeezed through a press. If you love witty, then put 2 or 3 cloves. Add the mayonnaise, mix. Do not put salt - herring and so salty, mayonnaise and more salt there.
Now we take rye bread and cut into pieces. I love making these sandwiches with Borodino bread, right delicious, I assure you! But it is possible, in principle, take any.
On each slice of bread put a little beet salad, the top piece of herring. You can even put a sprig of parsley dill go. You can even ring (or ring floor) onions. We serve a snack on the table at once. Bon Appetit and Happy New Year, friends!
