Today will tell you how I myself do yogurt. It turns out tasty, me and all my family like it very much! I think, like to you!

To prepare the yogurt we need milk. It is advisable to natural as in the village. If I can not buy natural milk, pasteurized, then take in a supermarket. But in any case, not ultra-pasteurized or sterilized and certainly not powder. Spend a little more money, but buy quality milk. Otherwise the yoghurt will not work. It needs 1 liter of milk.

Now a few words about the leaven. I do not buy a special starter, which is sold in large supermarkets and online stores. I use natural yoghurt. But here it is necessary to choose the appropriate one.

Ideally, I buy in the farm shop. But it is possible and in the supermarket, only to carefully read the composition, no chemicals, preservatives, thickeners should not be. Only milk and yeast with bifidobacteria. Yogurt, we need 1 tbsp.

Now the process. Heat the milk, but do not boil. As soon as the first small bubbles - remove from the slab.

Cooled to 40-38 degrees. If you have a special thermometer, there is no problem. If this kitchen gadget is not, it is determined to the touch, the hand should be hot, but bearable. Hands, of course, clean.

Add our starter - natural yogurt, stir whisk until smooth and pour into a glass jar. Sealed with a lid, wrap up with a towel or blanket and leave overnight in a warm place. I usually stands on a chair near the battery.

In the morning a delicious yogurt is ready! Add to it fresh berries, jam, honey, sugar, or just eat with a spoon without anything. If you want, then immediately put leaven (now you have your own) for the next batch of yogurt.
