Delicious marinated capelin, which I just love. With boiled potatoes just super! A very simple recipe, but it turns out delicious! Um, Yum!
Preparation:
We will need 500g of capelin. Fish should be firm, smooth. And if after defrosting capelin crumpled, it will not work.
Severed heads, tails, remove the entrails and thoroughly washed capelin.
Prepare the marinade. 1.5 liters of water is poured into the pot, add 2 tablespoons of salt (no slides), 2-3 bay leaves, black pepper peas 5 pieces 1 teaspoon mixture spicy spices to your tastes. Boil for 5-7 minutes.
In hot, but not boiling marinade, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar 9% and 1 table spoon of mustard in grains (it is still called the French). Stir, cool to room temperature.
The marinade put prepared capelin, as well as onions, sliced rings (1 bulb, or more, to your taste). Container in which pickled capelin, cover with lid and put them in the refrigerator.
On the second day you can already try capelin. Marinated fish up to 4 days. The longer the marina, the more salty and spicy in taste becomes. Bon Appetit!
