A few days ago, my doctor advised me for some time excluded from the diet of dairy products. And I, of course, began to hiccup replace cow's milk, read about the benefits of vegetable milk and how it can be made at home. Fortunately, it is not difficult thanks to modern technology.
The most simple and accessible seemed preparing almond milk. To cook it, you must first soak the nuts in water, so it will be much softer as well as get rid of phytic acid. So I came, flooded 100 g of almonds with cold water and leave overnight.
In the morning rinse it several times and sent to the mixer bowl with half a glass of clean water. Including the devices for 3 minutes, to grind almonds as finely as possible. For sweets, you can add a couple of dates, pitted, or a teaspoon of honey, but since I was preparing milk for baking, then skip this step.
Once the nut was ground for 3 minutes, I added another large glass of water, and then turn the blender, but in order to mix the milk well.
Now you need to drain the milk, I did it with the help of gauze folded into 4 times. The gauze will be quite a lot of cake, which need a good squeeze.
Once the resulting cake is completely dry, it can be used as flour. This flour can be used in baking cakes and cookies, try the next few days something to bake.
