I have long given up on traditional liver cakes, where you need to fry pancakes for a long time, then grease everything, fold in layers... This recipe is an alternative to such a cake, just being prepared easier and it turns out more tender and tasty and not so bold!

My liver, I cleanse it from films and grind it. I add milk and semolina. Stir and refrigerate for 1 hour.

At this time, I fry the onion, add a little sugar. A few minutes later, I send coarsely grated carrots into the pan. Salt. I fry for a few more minutes.

I take out the liver dough from the refrigerator, salt, add black pepper and mix.
On the bottom of a greased form I spread half the fried vegetables, then half the liver dough and a layer of sour cream with mayonnaise.

Then again vegetables, liver and the top layer - sour cream with mayonnaise. I put it in the oven for 40 minutes. I cool and decorate.

Ingredients:

• Liver (any) 500-600 g
• Onions - 2-3 pcs.
• Carrots - 2-3 pcs.
• Milk - 1/2 cup
• Semolina - 1/2 cup
• Sour cream - 3 tbsp.
• Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp.
• Ground black pepper
• Salt
