Hello! Today I cook chak-chak... Cooking options chak-chak quite a lot, both in form and knead the dough! A Turkish chak-chak, Uzbek, Tatar, some recipes are similar to each other... My version is probably the most simplistic, not related to any kitchen, but nevertheless - it chak-chak!!! And it was delicious!

Set a minimum of ingredients:

3 chicken eggs
A pinch of salt
Half a teaspoon of baking soda
And meal - somewhere grams 250-300, probably a little more
For the syrup:
Sugar + Water, in the ratio 2: 1
Two tablespoons of honey

To prepare the dough in a bowl break the eggs, add a pinch of salt ...

... and a mixer, beat, 3-4 minutes. In the process of whipping add the soda.

Then sift the flour and knead the dough, such as dumplings - I mean consistency it should have a tight, tight. And, as with dumplings test, here you can not guess exactly how many will go meal. As already said, knead to a dense state. Kneaded dough wrap in a plastic bag and leave to lie down on the table for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes it is possible to start rolling out the dough. But before that, I put the cooked syrup. Because it is boiled for a long time, and by the time when the bake chak-chak, already the syrup is ready. In a saucepan with a thick bottom pour sugar, pour the water and put on fire. After the syrup boils, diminish to the minimum and cook slowly, stirring occasionally. On this amount of dough (3 eggs), I take 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water. Somewhere in about 20 minutes, it will be seen that the syrup began to thicken, it is time to add the honey. Continue cooking.
