Let's start with the first of romantic legend.

The third story of a little sad, but it is more than any other seems to be true.
Count Stroganov, one of the richest men of his time, in his old age had lost almost all his teeth. What made him give up his beloved beef. But the cook of Count André Dupont, came up to him a recipe, where small pieces of beef stewed in a sauce.
From time to time, he arranged for a delicious free dinners at his home in Odessa. Not surprisingly, the crowds enjoyed this opportunity. They could eat there for a king, and it was there that was presented this masterpiece - beef stroganoff, which translated from French means "beef Stroganoff".
