INGREDIENTS

Pumpkin -1kg.

Sugar -100 gr.

Water -2l.

Lemon juice -2pcs. (100ml)

Cloves -5-10butons

COOKING METHOD

We take the pumpkin, peel and remove the seeds. Weight, peeled pumpkin 1 kg. Cut the pumpkin into cubes.

Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, add cloves to taste, I add 10 buds, you can add less or not add at all, but I like it even more with it.

Add 100 grams of sugar. Bring to a boil and add the pumpkin. Cook the pumpkin until soft, from the moment it boils for about 7-10 minutes.

During this time, squeeze lemon juice from two lemons, as soon as the pumpkin has become soft, pour in the lemon juice, about 100 ml of juice will be obtained from 2 lemons and bring to a boil.

At this stage, I remove the cloves, you can leave it alone, focus on your taste. You can try for sugar, if needed you can add.

While the compote is hot, its taste will not yet be understood. We close the lid and leave until it cools completely, during which time the compote will infuse and be ready for use.
