Korean-style pickled squid: a delicious and simple appetizer

Do you like squid? Do you know how to cook this product? We will tell you how to make delicious pickled squid according to a proven recipe.

Ingredients:

1 kg fresh squid
2 onions
6 tbsp. l 6% apple or rice vinegar
2 hours l. salt without a slide
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
1.5 tbsp. l. Korean-style carrot spices (a mixture of coriander with red pepper and dry garlic)
7 tbsp. l. vegetable oil

Preparation:

1. Defrost squid carcasses, rinse thoroughly with cold water, remove chord.

2. Boil water in a large saucepan. Salt a little. Dip the squid in boiling water and mark for exactly 3 minutes.

Immediately catch the squid with a slotted spoon or fork and cool.

3. Cut the squid into thin rings or strips.

4. Put the squid in a saucepan and cover with Korean-style carrot seasoning.

5. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

Mix sugar, salt and vinegar. Pour the onion with marinade and leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

6. Then transfer the onion to the squid, pour in the vegetable oil and mix thoroughly.

7. Put the dishes with the squid in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

That's all, marinated squids are ready!

Serve with fresh herbs as a snack.

  • squid can also be marinated in soy sauce with chopped garlic - Japanese style
  • or in dry white wine (lemon) with spicy herbs - Sicilian style
