Delicious pastry puffs: three options

Puff pies with cherries and cottage cheese

Ingredients:

1 pack of puff pastry (500 gr.)
200 gr. curd
3 tbsp. l. Sahara
a pinch of vanillin
egg
1 cup frozen cherries or pitted jam berries
1 tbsp. l. starch
powdered sugar for serving

Preparation:

1. Defrost the puff pastry package, following the manufacturer's instructions. Roll out the dough into not very thin layers and cut into squares.
2. Scroll crumbly cottage cheese in a meat grinder or grind in a blender with sugar and vanilla. Beat in a raw egg and mix again.
3. Scald a glass of frozen cherries with boiling water, let the juice drain. Frozen cherries need some sweetness. Enough 1 tbsp. l. Sahara.
If cherry made from jam or compote is used, then sugar is not needed. And boiling water too, but from the liquid you should hold such berries a little in a sieve over a bowl.
4. Pour starch to the berries, mix slightly.


5. Place the curd filling on one side of the dough square, fold the edge and wrap the dough like "shawarma" in a roll with a bottom. Put 1 tsp into the resulting package. l. cherries.
6. Put the puffs on a baking sheet lined with paper and brush on top with egg yolk.
7. Bake puffs for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Sprinkle with icing sugar when serving.

Puff pastry roses with apples

Ingredients:

puff pastry packaging
5 apples
1 glass of water
3 tbsp. l. Sahara
egg
powdered sugar

Preparation:
1. Wash the apples, cut into quarters and remove the seed capsule.
2. Boil water and sugar.
3. Cut each quarter of the apple into thin slices and dip in boiling sweet water for 2-3 minutes so that they are flexible and curl into a roll with the dough.
4. Defrost the dough and roll out thinly. Then cut the dough into strips 4 cm wide and 30 cm long.
5. On each tape of dough, place the apple slices with an overlap along the entire length.
Important! The top of the apple slices should protrude slightly beyond the edges of the dough.
6. Fold the tape into a tight roll and transfer to a baking sheet covered with parchment.
7. Bake at 200 degrees until browned.
You can grease the puffs with a beaten egg before baking.
Sprinkle hot puffs with icing sugar.

Puff pastry cinnamon ears

Ingredients:

1 pack of puff pastry
1 packet of ground cinnamon
3 tbsp. l. Sahara
flour
vegetable or butter oil

Preparation:

1. Defrost the dough. If it is in a roll, then cut it into layers. Two or three is enough.
3. Mix ground cinnamon with sugar. It is with sugar, not powdered sugar.
4. Roll out the dough layer thinly, but only in one direction.
5. Cover the dough with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar in a thick layer. Roll the top with a rolling pin so that the filling sticks to the dough.
6. Roll one end of the dough into a tight roll until the middle of the layer. Do the same with the second one. You should get two rolls that meet in the middle of the layer.
7. Cut these both rolls into ears, 1.5-2 cm thick.
8. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and oil with a brush or directly by hand.
9. Place the ears on the paper, leaving a sufficient distance between them, as they will rise and increase in size during the baking process.
10. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 220 degrees. Remove the finished ears with sugar and cinnamon from the puff pastry from the baking sheet immediately, while they are hot.

Let cool for 5-10 minutes and can be served.

That's all! Half an hour, ready dough and you have wonderful hot pastries for coffee or tea.
