Very tasty homemade cakes with the flavor of the holiday.

Interesting name, this cake was, because it is traditional celebratory pie in Italian families.

He is a very nice smell, it is well kept and by the way, is similar to our cake.

Panettone - just baked from yeast dough and always with orange peel. No lemon or tangerine!

Recipe Christmas cake "panettone"

Ingredients:

600 gr. wheat flour
35 gr. fresh yeast
200ml milk
250 gr. butter
4 eggs
2 egg yolk (optional)
250 gr. seedless raisins
orange
50 oz. conventional sugar
50 oz. brown sugar
0.5 hours. l. vanillin
0.5 hours. l. salt
20 gr. almond flakes (if desired, be replaced with walnuts or hazelnuts)

Preparation:


1. Sift flour twice.
2. Milk is heated.
3. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and with a pinch of salt 1 tablespoon. l. regular sugar.
4. As soon as bubbles appear in the dough, add 2 eggs and gradually put half of the flour. All carefully place until smooth.
5. In a separate bowl, beat 2 egg yolks, sugar and all traces of vanilla. Add the softened butter.
6. Pour the resulting mass in oparnoe dough, all combine and mix.


7. To drive in the dough 2 more eggs and enter the second half of the flour.
8. Knead the dough and leave in a warm place to approach for 30 minutes.
9. With orange rind removed using a fine grater. Add zest and raisins to the dough.
10. Cake Molds greased and sprinkled with flour or breadcrumbs.
Fill the form of a test of 1/3 that there is room for expansion.
11. Bake Christmas muffins at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
12. Panettone ready to grease the sweet water or syrup and sprinkle with almond flakes and nuts.
Serve the cake cooled down.
