There is less and less time left until the New Year, or rather, until the magical night when every person on Earth makes his cherished desire for the future.

Surely each of us will keep in our minds only one wish: I wish it would all be over soon!

What to eat: New Year's tips

And in order for everything to work out, we will buy something strong and warming, we will think over menu.

So what will we eat, seeing off the old year and meeting the new?

Sandwiches

The tradition of eating canapes on holiday tables does not take root in our country, it is small and not enough. But the buters are just the very thing!

The classic is a baguette with butter or cream cheese and caviar. Someone replaces caviar with semushka or lightly salted trout.

In the new realities, I suspect that we will have to spend our holiday evenings more economically and diligently, so I recommend using everything that is in the house for sandwiches.

From pickles and sprats to sausages, boiled meat, grated cheese with garlic, a piece of herring or fried mushrooms with onions. What? Tasty, satisfying, relatively inexpensive and generally a song for a snack!

Lavash rolls

In my opinion, the one who came up with the idea to wrap something in pita bread and cut into pieces should definitely be given a prize.

Well this is what a flight of imagination can be used to create something unimaginable in a lavashik. Fillings can be completely different: from vegetable, to fish or meat.

Delight and beauty! Do you agree?

Tartlets

Delicious plates of shortcrust or puff pastry always help out. When we have finances, caviar with a curl of butter flaunts in the tartlets. Or a red fish with a creamy cheese rose.

But in difficult times, tartlets can be filled with anything: from salad "Olivier" and "Herring under a fur coat", to liver pate, pickled mushrooms and fresh vegetables.

Meat rolls

We take a piece of meat, beat it off, lay it out on the table, fill it with vegetables / mushrooms / herbs / prunes or cheese on top, roll it all into a roll and into the oven.

And then cut into thin slices and serve as a snack.

Yes, painstakingly, long and, in a sense, costly. But this is the New Year's table! In addition, if something remains for the first number, you will praise yourself for such a tasty treat.

Stuffed vegetables / rolls

Everyone knows how to stuff tomatoes with cheese and garlic, but only dreamers can add raisins to this simple snack. We like to add mushrooms, sausage, shrimp, squid, red fish and... I will add what I find!

And I can't imagine any holiday without eggplant or zucchini rolls. Although it is on New Year's days that vegetables become more expensive than meat and on any table will look like a real overseas delicacy.

But now there is still time and a couple of eggplants can be tidied up just for such a case.

Cheese rolls

There are also many options, everything depends on imagination. Basically, it turns out delicious and cool with chicken or mushrooms, but whoever likes what they do.

Grate the processed cheese, add beaten eggs, flour, mayonnaise, salt, mix thoroughly and put on a baking sheet (lined with culinary parchment and oiled with vegetable oil). Spread the mixture evenly over the entire baking sheet in a thin layer.

We put in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes (180 degrees). As soon as the layer is browned, take it out, carefully separate it and put it on the work surface with the ruddy side down on a clean parchment for baking.

Filling: processed cheese, eggs, herbs and champignons, garlic, mayonnaise, ham, olives (olives)... We turn it into a roll, quickly, until the cheese layer has cooled down, wrap it tightly in parchment, put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours or overnight. Done! Cut, put on a nice plate.
