salted lard or thin salted brisket
garlic
pepper mix
ground paprika
parsley (dill, green basil)
How to cook:
1. This recipe will require salted bacon. You can buy it in the store, or you can salt it yourself in advance.
You should not "wrap" fresh, not salted bacon or brisket in this way, since this method is not salting, but an option to make a beautiful and tasty snack from ready-made bacon.
So, we take salted bacon and cut it into square or rectangular pieces, then into long strips, no more than 4 cm thick.
Make additional cuts along the piece. but not cutting to the end.
Open the bacon as a "book" with pages, cover with cling film and beat off in one even layer. The thickness is no more than 0.5-1 cm.
That's all with lard. The main thing is to beat off all the pieces equally.
2. Remove the film from the layer of broken bacon and sprinkle it with an even layer, which was prepared:
- Option 1 - a mixture of peppers
- Option 2 - ground paprika, hot pepper
- Option 3 - garlic passed through a press
- Option 4 - fresh parsley or other herbs
- Option 5 - mix everything
3. Roll lard into a tight roll, with spices inside, using a film or bag. For beauty, the roll itself also needs to be sprinkled with spices.
4. Wrap the roll in several layers of cling film, twisting the ends tightly, like a sausage or sausage.
5. Put all rolls with spicy fillings in the freezer for 2-3 hours so that they harden and are saturated with aromas.
Then you can take it out and put it in the refrigerator.
6. Cut delicious and beautiful bacon into thin slices, put on bread and... you can enjoy!
