There are never too many salads on the New Year's table. And if with "Olivier" everything is already clear to everyone, then everyone wants to indulge in vegetable salads in the midst of winter and the crisis, although this is not an expensive pleasure.
We will tell you how to make festive salads inexpensive, tasty and unusual.
New Year's Caesar salad with smoked chicken
Ingredients:
1 smoked chicken breast or 2-3 thighs
a bunch of lettuce
red onion
50 gr. hard cheese
100 g smoked sausage cheese
300 gr. tomato
greens
olives or olives
croutons to taste
salt
pepper
special dressing (or homemade = mayonnaise + mustard + lemon juice + olive oil)
How to cook:
1. Wash the salad and tear it with your hands or cut beautifully into pieces.
2. Onions, about half of the red onion can be chopped finely or into thin half rings.
3. Cut the chicken into strips, the tomatoes into slices.
4. On a flat dish, first put lettuce leaves, then chicken, grate smoked cheese on top, a layer of tomatoes, halves of olives and sprinkle with grated hard cheese.
Use croutons as desired. Serve the dressing separately.
New Year's Greek salad
Ingredients:
Chinese cabbage + 2-3 lettuce leaves
Cherry tomatoes
pickled cucumbers (can be fresh, if possible)
red onion
pitted olives
bell peppers, fresh if desired, or canned
dried basil
feta cheese or any other pickled
For refueling:
1 tsp liquid honey
70 ml olive oil
1 hour l. vinegar 3%
salt
ground pepper
dry herbs
How to cook:
1. You need to start with a gas station. To do this, whisk honey with butter, salt and ground pepper in a bowl. Add herbs and vinegar. Leave to infuse for 30 minutes.
2. Cut all vegetables and leaves for the salad large enough, preferably in equal pieces. Onion in half rings.
3. Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl, garnish with onions and olives. Place the cheese cubes on top and sprinkle with dry basil. It is advisable to serve the dressing separately, or pour it over the salad right before serving.
