Anyone can cook potatoes. But you have to try very hard to make it incredibly tasty, or... know the secret.
I have it like this - I boil potatoes in milk, then fry in butter with dill and a few additions. Sounds delicious already, right? Only the milk escapes or burns, there is also a trick here and this is what.
Ingredients:
2 kg young medium-sized potatoes (neither small nor large)
1 glass of milk
50 gr. butter
1 bunch of dill
3-4 cloves of garlic
salt
ground black pepper
How to cook:
1. Wash the potatoes. If the skin is still young and like a film, then you do not need to peel it. Just wash. But it is advisable to scrape off or cut off the dense peel.
2. Place the potatoes in a deep saucepan. Pour water into it and put it on the stove. The potatoes should be covered with water. After boiling, cook the potatoes for 10 minutes.
3. Drain half of the water and add cold milk instead. This is a prerequisite. At this moment, you can salt the potatoes and add 1 tsp. l. butter.
4. Continue cooking until the potatoes are ready. Then very carefully drain the water and dry the potatoes a little directly in an empty, liquid-free saucepan over the fire. Literally 1 minute.
5. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Transfer the potatoes, one at a time, into the oil and fry on two or more sides until they are nicely crispy.
Place the fried potatoes on a serving dish.
Repeat with all potatoes.
6. After that, in the remaining oil, slightly warm the finely chopped dill and garlic. Pour the young potatoes with the resulting oil and herbs.
Salt and pepper to taste.
