Do you like lard? Today we are sharing secret recipes from salted lard. We will prepare several dishes that will surprise, saturate, benefit your health and be sure to please everyone.

Lard is a grateful and beneficial product. It is very useful for people of all ages, and if you use it in moderation, then there will be no contraindications.

And, of course, in winter there is nowhere without bacon. It doesn't matter that there is almost no snow outside the window and it is damp all the time. Quite the opposite, bacon in gloomy weather without the sun is the most relevant and necessary dish.

And how many delicious things you can cook from it and not list.

For example, snacks.

"Selyanskaya spread" appetizer with garlic

Ingredients:

300 gr. salted bacon
1 head of garlic
1 bunch fresh dill

Preparation:

1. Peel and grate the garlic. Finely chop the dill.

2. Cut the bacon into slices without the skin and mince it along with the garlic and dill. You can add 1 tsp. l. ground paprika.

3. Put the resulting spread in a jar with a lid. Serve on rye bread slices and enjoy.

Or here: incredibly tasty and mouth-watering dumplings, where the unusual filling is ideally combined with the most delicate dough.

Dumplings with bacon and raw potatoes

Ingredients:

1 kg of potatoes
250 g salted bacon
2 onions
0.5 tsp l. ground black pepper
500 gr. flour
220 ml milk
egg
2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
salt

Preparation:

1. Sift flour into a deep bowl, add egg and salt to taste, pour in vegetable oil and milk.
Knead the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave on the table for 20 minutes.

2. Peel the salted lard from salt and skin, and then cut into pieces.
3. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut the tubers into 4-6 pieces.

4. Peel and chop the onion as well.
5. Pass potatoes, bacon and onions through a meat grinder. Add pepper. But you don't need to add salt, since the fat is already salty.

6. Stir the filling and, since the potatoes release juice, put the minced meat in a sieve and place it in a bowl so that excess liquid drains.

7. Divide the dough into several parts, roll each part into a sausage, then divide the sausage into small pieces, and roll them into flat cakes.

8. Put 1 tsp in the center of the cakes. potato filling, hold the edges of the dough together and pinch.
9. Boil dumplings with lard and potatoes in boiling water for exactly 8 minutes from the moment of boiling. Serve with sour cream.

And if you are tired of just salted lard, then serve it like this.

Lard rolls

Ingredients:

500 gr. salted bacon
3 cloves of garlic
1 hour l. ground sulfur pepper
1 hour l. ground red pepper
1 hour l. ground paprika
1 hour l. coriander seed

Preparation:

1. Crush coriander kernels in a mortar or rolling pin. You can use a coffee grinder.
2. Mix ground coriander, paprika, red and black pepper

3. Peel and grate the garlic.
4. Carefully cut the skin off a long piece of bacon. Cut the bacon along the piece into plates of the same thickness. Too soft bacon is better to freeze beforehand.

5. Rub each layer of bacon on both sides with garlic and then thickly cover with a layer of spices, also on each side.
6. Roll up layers of bacon with tight rolls and wrap them with cling film.

7. Put the rolls in the freezer for 2-3 hours. Lard rolls are ready.
Cut the garlic and spice rolls into thin slices and serve. Store the remaining bacon in the refrigerator.
