Do you like fish? Then this method should be in your piggy bank. It will help you save time and quickly prepare a delicious hot meal.
Ingredients:
fresh mackerel
onion
salt
ground pepper
mayonnaise
table mustard (but better French)
vegetable oil
lemon
How to cook:
1. Defrost the fish and cut (remove the head and entrails), rinse thoroughly in running water. Cut the mackerel into portioned pieces, just do not grind.
2. Mix 3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise with 1 tsp l. mustard. Add two pinches of salt and ground pepper.
3. Grate lemon. I always keep a frozen lemon in the freezer for such an occasion. It is easily rubbed into very fine crumbs. For 1 carcass of mackerel, you will need 1 tsp. l. grated together with peeled lemon.
Or grate fresh - pulp with zest.
4. Season the fish with grated lemon, stir. You do not need to salt and pepper.
5. Cut the onions into large rings or half rings.
6. Pour 1-2 tbsp into a microwave container. l. vegetable oil. Top with a thick layer of onion half rings.
7. Put pieces of mackerel on the onion and brush them with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard using a brush.
All manipulations with cutting fish, mixing sauce and slicing onions take only a few minutes.
8. Close the container with the fish and put it in the microwave. Set the highest power and turn on the device for 7-10 minutes. Sometimes 5 minutes is enough if the fish is small.
After the signal, leave the mackerel in the microwave for a couple of minutes.
Everything! The dish is ready! It takes me a maximum of 15-20 minutes to complete everything and a delicious fish lunch or dinner is ready!
In the same way I cook pollock and pink salmon. By the way, the onion also turns out to be delicious, as if baked. Try it yourself!
