Lemon gives a piquant sourness and bitterness, and the marinade can be drunk as a drink.
Try it yourself!
Ingredients for 1 L can:
8-12 cucumbers
thin circle of lemon
2 cloves of garlic
2 pcs. bay leaf
2 black currant leaves
1 cm horseradish root or leaf
1 umbrella of dill
3 allspice peas
optional tarragon (tarragon) and cherry leaf
For the marinade:
0.5 liters of water
20 gr. coarse salt
75 gr. Sahara
on the tip of a citric acid knife
How to cook:
1. Wash and sterilize jars. Place the specified ingredients for 1 liter cans on the bottom of the can.
2. Rinse cucumbers and soak in cold water for 2-3 hours.
3. Tamp the cucumbers into a jar, not forgetting about the lemon circle - here it is. If you like spicy, then feel free to add a pod of hot or bitter pepper.
4. Boil water and pour boiling water over cucumbers in a jar. Leave to stand for 20 minutes. Then drain the water - you won't need it anymore.
5. Boil the marinade water separately, add salt, sugar and citric acid to it and boil for exactly 1 minute from the moment of boiling.
6. Pour cucumbers with boiling marinade, cover with a boiled lid and sterilize for 5-7 minutes from the moment the water boils in the tank.
7. Roll jars of cucumbers with a sterilized lid, turn upside down and wrap until they cool completely.
Put away in a cool place.
