Many people who lose weight are afraid of potatoes and do not include it in their diet. All due to the vegetable's high glycemic index and a sharp rise in blood sugar after eating potatoes.

Does everyone monitor their blood sugar levels after meals or all diabetics who are losing weight?

When cooked without fat or frying, baked potatoes will supply healthy, low-calorie dietary fiber that provides protection against cardiovascular vascular diseases and cancer, as well as a huge amount of nutrients necessary for the body - vitamin B6, potassium, copper, vitamin C, manganese, phosphorus, nicotinic acid. In addition, potatoes contain beta-carotene.

Let's make healthy and tasty potatoes.

✅We need:

  • 3-4 potatoes (560 g),
  • 1 onion (1330 g),
  • 1 carrot (95 g),
  • salt, black pepper, turmeric, dry garlic.
  • sleeve for baking.

✅Cooking.

Cut the potatoes into small pieces.

Finely chop the onions and carrots.

When cutting carrots, I used a special vegetable cutter, but you can also rub it on a coarse grater.

We take a baking sleeve and put potatoes, carrots, onions in it.

Add spices: black pepper, salt, dry garlic, turmeric (it will give a pleasant sunny color to the potatoes).

We tie a bag for baking and mix vegetables with spices, shake the bag a little, carefully so as not to tear.

We spread the bag of vegetables on a baking sheet (I also used a baking dish).

Put in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

Then we open the bag, I just cut it on top and bring it to readiness.

It took me another 10 minutes.

That's all, our delicious, healthy side dish is ready!
