I decided that I still need to talk again about the skin when losing weight. Rather, to collect in one place all the ways of leaving that help me avoid those terrible consequences that are shown on TV in talk shows or we see in photos on the Internet.
Let's start with the fact that the dire consequences on the skin are the problem of those who lost weight from huge weight, in a short time under tight restrictions.
Under such conditions, the skin really does not keep up with the rapidly disappearing weight.
Having started your way to harmony, you need to think not only about how to quickly get rid of excess weight, but first of all - how to maintain and increase health and avoid consequences for the skin.
I lost weight by counting calories. The process lasted over 2 years! It took not half a year, not a year or even a year and a half to get rid of 63 extra pounds.
Basic Calorie Counting Helped Me Lose Weight:
1️⃣So, slowly losing weight, with a rational and balanced diet, is important both for maintaining health and maintaining skin tone and elasticity.
2️⃣ From birth, human skin contains a large amount of collagen and elastin - proteins, which are the main components of connective tissue. The more fearful we become, the more collagen and elastin production in the body slows down, which leads to wrinkles, the skin becomes less elastic. In addition, the process is influenced by a polluted environment, and an improper lifestyle, and menopause.
However, there are foods that stimulate collagen and elastin production - for example: fish of the salmon family, red meats, poultry, cod, eggs, nuts, cheeses, beets, beans. It is advisable to introduce all these products into your diet.
Gelatin helps to maintain skin tone very well; it contains substances of animal origin that are present in the human body. That is, it nourishes the tissues and improves their functional state.
Our task is to increase the production of our own collagen, since we need collagen produced by the cells on their own.
3️⃣ Any care will not be superfluous, even at home.
Below I will tell you about the methods of skin care that, in my opinion, have become the most effective for me.
✅Scrub: 1-2 times a week. I prepare the scrub myself. I use coarse coffee (I buy the cheapest one).
For 1 time I mix about 2 tablespoons of coffee, lush gel (the amount that you usually necessary when taking a shower) and 3-4 drops of any essential citrus oil (orange, lime, grapefruit).
I scrub myself while showering for about 10 minutes and rinse off. Baby's skin after the procedure.
✅After the shower, body milk and face cream follow.
I add 3-4 drops of liquid vitamins A and E to the body milk in portions and rub into the skin.
I apply a cream on my face several times a week with the addition of vitamins A and E.
✅1 - once a week you can do wraps at home. I like the coffee and honey wrap.
I do wraps in problem areas - stomach, hips. I mix about 3 tablespoons of coffee with 3 tablespoons of honey, add a few drops of citrus essential oil. If the honey is not liquid, I add a little hot water so that it can be easily applied, but at the same time so that the mixture does not flow.
I apply it to problem areas and wrap it in several layers with cling film. It is advisable to sit or lie under a blanket in warmth for an hour.
Then I wash off the mixture of coffee and honey, massage it a little - I also get an additional scrub effect.
✅ When taking a shower, finish it with a contrast shower - it very tones the skin.
✅ While taking a shower, you can work out problem areas with silicone vacuum cans (gently for those who have varicose veins).
Typically, vacuum cupping massage is done with body oil to slide the cups over the skin. But I loved sliding the cans over the shower gel.
✅ Massage with a dry brush tones the skin well. In the evening, when you are resting, someone is watching TV - take a dry brush and massage problem areas with a dry brush at the same time as watching movies.
✅ I really like how the blue clay mask works - I use it on the face, neck and décolleté.
It is in our power not to be lazy and help the skin to gain elasticity and tone.
