Nevertheless, I always strive to try something new (although it may be forgotten old ones), not only Olivier.
Now I'm talking about Korean funchose salad. You can cook it with pickled hot vegetables or sauteed vegetables. You can also add meat or mushrooms there. I will cook with chicken and sauteed vegetables.

Korean chicken salad with funchose
- For cooking, I need funchose, this is a kind of "glass" noodles made from legume starch.
- Adjust the hot ingredients to your taste.
I start by preparing the meat. Beating off chicken fillet and cut it into strips. I add soy sauce to it. Stir and leave to marinate.
My vegetables, peel and cut into thin strips. Carrots can be grated for Korean carrots, if available.
I chop a Chinese cabbage or Chinese cabbage, then a cucumber. Also bell peppers and hot peppers.
Now making sauce. I rub the garlic on a grater. I add sweet paprika and hot peppers. Also honey, sesame oil and rub. Add soy sauce and stir.
- I spread the chicken in a well-heated frying pan with a spoonful of oil and fry for 3-4 minutes over high heat.
- Then I spread the carrots and reduce the heat. I fry for 1 minute.
- I add sweet and bitter peppers and fry for half a minute.
- Chinese cabbage is also half a minute.
- Add cucumbers and mix. I turn off the heating.
FUNCHOSA
I boil water in a saucepan. For 100 g of funchose you need 1 liter of boiling water. Salt water and dip the noodles in boiling water. (Read the cooking times in the instructions.)
I close the pot, turn off the gas and leave the noodles for 3 minutes. Then I drain and rinse with cold water.
The finished funchose is almost transparent. I cut the noodles with scissors and put them in a salad bowl.
I spread it on top fried vegetables with meat. Pour with sauce and stir.
The salad can be served warm or cold.
For a hot salad, put funchose in a pan with vegetables and heat it up.
