The other day I came across a can of tuna and wanted to make a jellied fish pie.

There are some lovers of such pies among you, I hope😉. Instead of tuna, you can use, for example, pink salmon in its own juice.

Hearty and tasty - what you need!

✅ For the tuna and egg jellied pie, I needed the following ingredients:

  • kefir 1% - 450 g,
  • raw egg - 1 piece,
  • whole grain rice flour (wheat can be used) - 150 g,
  • a pinch of salt, 1 sachet of sweetener (or 5 g of sugar), 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • boiled egg - 2 pieces,
  • a jar of tuna in its own juice - 150 g weight of tuna,
  • green onions - 50 g,
  • a pinch of sesame seeds - optional.

✅Cooking.

Finely chop the green onion.

Knead the tuna with a fork into small pieces.

Finely chop the eggs (I used an egg cutter).

We mix tuna, green onions, eggs. The filling is ready.

At this point, you can turn on the oven so that it warms up to 180 degrees.

Cooking the dough.

Beat the kefir and egg lightly, adding the sweetener sachet (or 5 g of sugar) and a pinch of salt.

Add baking powder to the flour and pour everything into a bowl of kefir.

Stir so that there are no lumps. The dough is ready. It should look like pancakes.

We take a baking dish. My mold is silicone, 18 cm.

Pour half of the dough into a mold. Put the filling on the dough and tamp it slightly.

Fill with the remaining dough.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

We send it to the oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

KBZHU per 100 g of ready-made dish: K - 160, B - 9.6, F - 3.8, U - 18.9.

The weight of the finished dish is 740g.
