All regular readers already know the principle of cooking - we cook deliciously, but less high-calorie than before, using a minimum of oil when frying and non-high-calorie foods. And best of all - bake, stew, boil.
Today I will tell you how I cook beef goulash, it turns out a rich taste and excellent calorie content.
✅For the dish, I needed the following products:
- lean beef - 460 g,
- medium carrots - 85 g,
- small onion - 140 g,
- 2 heaped teaspoons of tomato paste - 25 g
- salt, black pepper, dry garlic, bay leaf, sweet paprika,
- 0.5 liters of water.
✅Cooking.
We start with beef. Cut the meat into small and thin pieces and send it to a saucepan (frying pan with high sides) to fry. I have added no more than 1g of oil to the pan using a spray bottle.
While the meat is fried, finely chop the onion and three carrots on a coarse grater.
Do not forget to stir the meat so that it does not burn. The water should evaporate and the chu meat should be fried. This took about 10 minutes over high heat.
When the water has evaporated and the meat is slightly fried, add onions, carrots, tomato paste to it and lightly fry the vegetables until half cooked.
Then we fill it with water (for 460 g of meat, I took half a liter of water). if you want more broth, add a little more water.
Salt and pepper to taste, generously add dry garlic and bay leaf (1-2 pieces if large leaves).
Leave to simmer under a lid over medium heat for about an hour.
I like to serve in a deep plate with goulash over the side dish to have a lot of broth sauce.
Buckwheat, durum pasta and even potatoes are great as a side dish.
