Today I have a recipe for you that a reader, Lyudmila Maksimova, shared with me.

I honestly admit that I don't really like liver pate. It's not mine. But I decided that I would cook it for home and I need to share Lyudmila's recipe with you.

But having cooked and tasted, I realized that the pate is very tasty with a creamy taste and at the same time without oil!

✅To make the pate, I needed the following products:

  • 250 g chicken liver
  • small onion - 50 g,
  • small carrot - 65 g,
  • curd cheese - 70 g,
  • salt, black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.

I made plows out of 1/2 of the amount of products recommended by Lyudmila:

- for 0.5 kg of liver, one large onion and carrots + 250 grams of curd cheese. The calorie content came out 150 kcal per 100 grams.

✅Cooking.

First of all, we need to prepare vegetables. Three carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion and send to stew-fry in a pan. I sprayed olive oil into the pan with a spray bottle - that's less than 1 g of oil.

We bring the vegetables almost to readiness and add to them the chicken liver, which was previously cleaned of films.

Salt, pepper and add a pinch of nutmeg. Next time I'll try again with dry garlic.

We bring the liver to readiness, check that no pink juice comes out. A couple of times I poured 50 ml of water so that the liver did not burn.

The liver is ready - remove from heat and let cool slightly.

We interrupt the liver with vegetables with an immersion blender and add curd cheese to it.

Well, we interrupt everything with a blender so that the mass is homogeneous.

We transfer to a container, cool and enjoy delicious sandwiches with liver pate.

My calorie content came out a little different per 100g: K - 195, B - 18.33, F - 11.65, U - 4.55.

First, I calculated the calorie content of the liver, taking into account the total weight and received: K - 171, B - 22.2, F - 7.1, U - 5. Then I added KBZHU of curd cheese.
