I can imagine the reaction of many. What pasties for losing weight !?
But you and I, regular readers, know how tasty and comfortable it is to slim down while cooking pasties, khachapuri, and dumplings and much more that is considered by someone to be forbidden products.
It's simple:
Who decides to figure it out - figure it out and understand how you can eat pasties and at the same time lose weight.
I'll tell you how I cooked the laziest pasties in my life.
✅I needed the following ingredients:
- thin pita bread - 145 g (pure weight, trimmed),
- chicken breast fillet - 440 g,
- onions - 150 g,
- 50 ml of water,
- 1 chicken egg
- salt, black pepper, dry garlic and suneli hops.
✅Cooking.
First of all, prepare the minced chicken breast with the addition of onions.
Add about 50 ml of water and spices to the minced meat. I generously added dry garlic and suneli hops - the pasties turned out to be very fragrant.
Minced meat is ready. Let's move on to preparing pita bread.
We fold the pita bread in several layers (I have 6 loys - 6 pasties) and use a plate to cut out circles from the pita bread.
Lavash scraps can be used in the preparation of everyone's favorite lazy achma or casserole pie (there are recipes in my catalog).
Grease the edges of the lavash circle well with an egg.
We spread the minced meat on one half of the pita bread and spread it about 1-1.5 cm thick without touching the edges greased with an egg.
Cover with the second half of pita bread and fasten the edges greased with an egg.
You can add a little cheese - mozzarella or suluguni, or herbs, or mushrooms, or cottage cheese with herbs and garlic. Or you can just cottage cheese with herbs.
We spread our pasties on a baking sheet (I covered the baking sheet with a silicone mat) and grease with an egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
We send to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Always refer to your oven for baking time.
It is possible that some pasties will get slightly wet from below. For some reason, this happened to me with 2 of 6 pieces. I just turned the pasties over and dried the other side a little.
Approximate KBZHU of a ready-made dish per 100 g: K - 150, B - 17.6, F - 2.87, U - 12.9.
