On my channel, I share not only my experience of losing weight (already by 58 kg), but also my everyday menu and recipes for dishes that are included in my diet.

You often ask for more fish recipes. I am not a fan of fish (well, except for lightly salted and smoked), but I recently cooked a fish in a creamy tomato sauce and I want to share the recipe with you.

Fast and tasty - everything I like.

✅Ingredients I need:

  • any fish - I have 610 g,
  • 2 onions - 140 g
  • carrots - 100 g
  • sour cream 10% - 2 not full tablespoons - 50 g,
  • tomato paste - not a full teaspoon 10 g,
  • salt, pepper, bay leaf.

✅Cooking.

The first step is to prepare vegetables. Rub the carrots and finely chop the onion.

We send vegetables to be fried. I use non-stick pans, I don't add oil. In order not to burn, you need to add a little water.

We wash the fish and cut into portions.

When the vegetables are almost ready, put the fish in a saucepan.

Fill with water (about 200 g), mixed with sour cream and tomato paste. The fish should be almost covered with sauce.

Salt, pepper, add a leaf of lavrushka and bring the fish to readiness over low heat for 7-10 minutes. Make sure that the fish does not start to fall apart.

We remove from the fire. The dish is ready.

Enjoy your meal!

Boiled potatoes will be an excellent addition to the fish.

By the way, I used tilapia in this recipe. Many people stopped buying this fish after information about how it is grown in China spread. The breeding site is inland waters, as well as artificially created reservoirs and water plantations.
Tilapia feeds not only on algae, but also on food waste, which in many ways has given it a bad reputation.
However, a check carried out by Roskontrol showed that the investigated tilapia fillets of various brands do not contain toxins and in more than one sample they do not exceed the maximum permissible level.
Naturally, it is up to us to decide whether or not to trust the research and use certain products or not.
After a long break, I nevertheless began to sometimes buy tilapia fillets. It is tasty and very easy to prepare.
