Let's get acquainted! My name is Anya and since May 2018 I have switched to about proper nutrition and a calorie deficit.
In my blog, I talk about how my process of losing weight from 132.2 kg (with a height of 172 cm) is going, I share recipes and experiences.
Currently I have managed to get rid of 59 kg.

Today I want to share with you a simple recipe for stewed chicken breast. Simple but delicious. The breast in this dish acquires a special taste, tart. Must try to appreciate!

I got acquainted with this recipe while visiting friends who, having visited Tallinn, brought with them a bunch of interesting recipes.

Basically they cook pork, lamb, beef. But I decided to try making a chicken hoot to reduce the calorie content of the dish.

Let's get started?

âś…Ingredients:

  • chicken breast - 3 small fillets - 630 g,
  • onion 2 things - 150 g,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar - 5 g
  • bay leaf, allspice, black pepper,
  • 2 lemon slices
  • olive oil - 1 teaspoon - 5 g.

Cooking.

Cut the chicken breast into medium pieces - like a stew.

Chop the onion randomly, but not finely. I cut the onion on the floor and again in half and cut into thin strips.

We pass to the stove.

Lightly fry the chicken breast on a drop of olive oil. Don't salt and pepper yet!

I fried in 2 stages, so that the pieces are fried, and not stewed.

While roasting chicken - prepare tea with lemon and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Tea must be poured stronger and put 2 slices of lemon, mash it well.

Put the fried chicken in a bowl.

In the same place where the chicken was fried - fry the onion until golden brown. In order not to burn, you can add a little water.

As soon as our onion has become transparent and fried a little, we spread the chicken breast to it.

Salt, pepper, add bay leaves, 4-5 allspice peas and fill everything with tea with lemon.

Simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat under the lid, slightly open.

Then turn it off and let it brew for another 10 minutes.

Serve with any side dish, sprinkled with your favorite herbs.

To enhance the taste, you can add 5-7 prunes or dried apricots when stewing. But in this case, KBZHU will be higher.
KBZHU for 100 g of chicken breast with gravy:
K - 100, B - 18.8, F - 1.5, U - 3.
You know, chicken is chicken. But the taste of the breast, according to this recipe, which was well infused in the sauce, somehow reminded me of the taste of pork or beef.
