Let's get acquainted! My name is Anya and since May 2018 I have switched to about proper nutrition and a calorie deficit.
In my blog, I talk about how my process of losing weight from 132.2 kg (with a height of 172 cm) is going, I share recipes and experiences.
Currently I have managed to get rid of59kg.

Have you heard of zero or negative calorie foods? These include herbs, vegetables, fruits, berries, spices.

You can eat them as much as you want and lose weight, and there are whole lists of such products! Is it really so?

In fact, foods with negative calories do not exist, since every food has calories.

Only water and tea without sugar do not contain them.

We lose weight when there is a calorie deficit - that is, the daily calorie intake is less than during the same time the body will expend energy on movement, sleep, work, digestion of food and maintenance of other important functions organism.

And if, for example, they ate 100 g of celery, which is about 14 kcal, then considered

that for the digestion of 100 g of celery, 28 kcal is spent - 2 times more than celery brought to the body.

But again, there is an opinion that foods that are classified as zero calories lose no more than 7% of the total energy content during digestion. For example, fiber does not require digestion at all; when it is excreted from the body, it does not change, so resources are not wasted on it. And as we can see, foods with a high fiber content are considered zero calorie foods.

But are we going to eat celery alone and rely on the fact that all the calories from foods with "zero" calories were spent on their own digestion?

And as a result, the difference in calories received and spent on digestion highlysmall and will not affect the process of losing weight.

Do you believe in zero calorie foods?

I'll tell you about my menu for today - it is a little messy and cobbled together from what was.

breakfast - scrambled eggs from two eggs, half a tomato (50 g) and two rye bread (10 g) with melted cheese (30 g). I drank green tea and omega-3 at breakfast.

It turned out just for breakfast 320 kcal.

After breakfast I did a little work, then I analyzed the comments in Zen.

And I had to run on business.

Knowing that I will be back closer to lunchtime, and the snack time falls just at the time when I am not at home - I drank green tea and ate 20 g of dark chocolate before leaving the house.

It turned out to be a small snack for 110 kcal.

When I got home, I had lunch.

For lunch, 100 g of boiled buckwheat, 250 g (with gravy) of lazy cabbage rolls and vegetables for a total of 150 g).

It turned out lunch for 330 kcal.

Zhor attacked me today! Girls will understand me, it happens with us 🤣.

So after lunch I went to work and at work had another afternoon with two rye bread (10 g) with melted cheese (30 g) and green tea. Happened 125 kcal.

And for dinner I finished chicken soup with noodles and chicken drumstick meat (400 g) - 300 kcal.

And later in the evening, when we were relaxing and watching an evening movie, I ate 40 g of dried mango with tea - 100 kcal.

It turned out in a day 1285 kcal.

A drinking regimen, exercise at home, and walking towards a calorie deficit are great helpers in losing weight.
