To be honest, I loved it at school pea mash (or, as some call it - pea porridge) and pies with peas have always loved. But at school, many of us snorted at these dishes for obvious reasons: "musical product "howeverπΆ
Many times I prepared such mashed potatoes in a simple "old-fashioned" way: soaked peas, cooked for a long time and pounded them with a crush. And then I got a recipe on the internet: "pea puree in microwave in 15 minutes!"
I think, let me try to depict everything according to the recipe and please my stomach. In addition, everything was stated there in general, everything was elementary: I filled it with water, put it in the microwave without a lid, for 15 minutes at full power and then photo of tender puree. And, they say, nothing splashes out, and a blender is not needed.
I was ordered, in short ((
π€¦ββοΈ What happened in the end π€·ββοΈ
After five minutes of "life" in the microwave, mashed potatoes began to gurgle incredibly. I opened it, and there was all the water on the pallet. Okay, I thought, I won't give up, I will do it in several stages. After the sixth (!!!) five minutes, it looked like this:
Until all this epic from "quick"cooking lasted, I managed to make cracklings from bacon and onion πππ
Generally, after 30 minutes (with breaks after every five minutes for a couple of minutes to relieve the heat) the peas were still ready for me to chop them with a blender πππ
Well, that's how it happened tasty. However, I stop a hundred times regretted that not did it in her own proven way.
I had to carry out an unscheduled washing of the microwave, with a "kind" word to remember the cook who published such a recipe and realize once again that "trust but check".
So, I checked, and you DO NOT repeat this experience)
