Fried cheese doesn't always work out well.
And more often even not well, if you do not know what kind of cheese and as fry. I donβt know, you can get a melted cheese cake in a frying pan, and not the expected sticks with melting cheese inside.
I can say that the perfect fried cheese I got from one of the companies of eco products, where cheese was just for frying. But his price is too high.
Therefore, I "groped" my optimal recipe (by trial and error) π©βπ³
I fry ordinary Russian bran cheese (not to be confused with cereal). And the most important thing in this recipe is it's frying time.
π½ WHAT IS NEEDED π½
* Russian hard cheese - 150 gr
* oat bran - 5 tablespoons (can be replaced with bread crumbs)
* egg - 1 piece

Egg whisk. I not salt, because there is enough salt in cheese.
Cheese cut in blocks not less than 1 centimeter thick, and in length, as you like, we love small (5-6 cm) π
Cheese sticks dip in a beaten egg π
Then roll in bran (breadcrumbs) π
AND repeat the whole procedure again: again in the egg and again in the bran

I roll all the pieces at once, because frying is done very quickly
Vegetable oil good warm up and lay out there bars π

You need to fry the cheese sticks for 30 - 40 seconds on each side. Not more.
After frying lay out on a napkin to remove excess oil π
We serve with kettPuch, mayonnaise, sour cream or just like that π
With this option of frying, the cheese has time to melt, and the crust turns brown and becomes crispy. Try it - it's delicious. It may not look very pretty in the photo, but I assure you, it tastes great!
