When you buy pasta in cans (I call it - more than once), then such a thing often happens as mold inside the can after a few days.
Before, I removed mold, filled it with vegetable oil, tried to use it quickly, made juice.
By the way, if you have pasta in an open package quickly not deteriorates, this is an indicator that preservatives have been added to it.
It should be noted that in larger cans, very often the composition of the paste is at least similar to tomato paste. There are good options in both glass and cans. Be sure to read the composition and see the manufacturer.
For often in the composition you can find all sorts of apple and vegetable purees (pumpkin, zucchini, carrots), starch, carrageenan, etc.
So what if you don't plan on cooking something with tomato paste in the next week or two?

👩🍳 PREPARING 👩🍳
Onion chop, garlic grind, carrot rub on a fine grater
👇👇👇
We do fry the onions until golden brown
Frying give cool a little and add her in tomato paste 👇
Mix well mix and lay out spoon into silicone molds for freezing 👇
Plastic ice molds can also be used.
We leave in the freezer until completely frozen 👇
We take out tomato blanks from the mold, add up into a bag or container and again send in the freezer.
As necessary, we get the required number of tomato blanks.
Thanks to vegetable oil, frozen tomato paste very easily "pops out" from the molds.
And the added onions and carrots will allow using the pasta in almost any dish with tomato: borscht, kharcho, meat gravies, fish marinades, sauces, stewed cabbage, spaghetti, pizza, etc.
Today we have Bulgarian soup Bob Chorba (I have the recipe on my channel)
