We decided to take a stray cat at the moment when we ourselves ended up in a rented apartment. It was exactly 4 years ago.
I will not describe the background of our move to a rented apartment. It was hard, difficult, painful. And after a couple of months, the son said: "Let's get a cat?" Fair? I didn't even hesitate for a minute.
The only thing I thought we were buy a cat and I will give it to my son, because there was a month before my son's birthday. And then the son says: "Mom, why buy, you know how many homeless people there are?" ...
I went to Avito. I found the first ash-colored cat, wrote to the mistress that we were ready to take her to us. I was asked to write how I see the content of the cat in the apartment? Then for some reason I got a little angry. After all, I could write a whole lecture to the hostess, based on information on the internet. This, in fact, I wrote to her. This concludes our communication.
And then I see this photo 👇
Sad eyes, noble posture, slim Blonde like me). I am writing: "We are ready to take this cat." In response they asked for my phone number and wrote. I called in a minute Galina and said that they can bring us this Miracle within an hour!
Then I even got excited. Yes, we had cats. But that was in his house. Long. And here is an apartment. Also removable. But everything was already decided. An hour later they brought us OUR a beauty with a dowry: a lounger, a feeder, a drinker, a tray, a supply of food and filler for a tray, a scratching post, a toy.
A little about those who brought us the cat. Galina and her husband are volunteers. They pick up stray cats, wash, vaccinate, sterilize and give them into good hands. Ours was their 15th in a row, so her name was Pyatnashka. She was picked up at a construction site by a pregnant woman. She gave birth to kittens at their home. Later, by the way, they were also fed and placed in families.
After Pyatnashka was brought into the apartment, she did this:
Galina and Kirill were even surprised. Usually cats hide in the corners, sniff everything, inspect, and here: "Here I am, no flowers!")
I involuntarily burst out: "What are you Masyanya!" So she became Masei.
Now she can also lie. Only a little 😉 has become more) Galina scolds me (we are in touch now) that you need to drive Masya, put him on a diet.
