Here's another simple and delicious puff pastry recipe. Today I suggest you make garlic puffed bagels - it will turn out just fine. You can just eat them just like that, or you can serve them as bread.
Ingredients:
puff pastry
garlic
greens
salt
spice
eggs
oil
So, we need puff pastry - 250 gr. You can take any ready-made puff pastry - yeast or yeast-free. Both are great for these bagels. Pre-defrost the dough.
In the meantime, the defrosting process is in progress, let's start filling our bagels. We need a bunch of dill - cut it finely. You can add any other greens to dill.
Grind 3-5 cloves of garlic using a press or the finest grater and add to the dill. Salt a little, add a pinch of black pepper if desired.
Then pour vegetable oil to the herbs and garlic - about 50 ml and mix thoroughly or grind in a mortar. You can do it even easier: if you have a blender, then just add all of the above ingredients and whisk. Leave the filling for 15-20 minutes so that the oil is saturated with the aromas of herbs and garlic
Now we roll out the dough into a layer about 3-5 mm thick, cut into three strips, and then cut each strip into two triangles.
Grease the dough with garlic oil and wrap it in a bagel (croissant), starting from the wide end. We spread the resulting bagels on a baking sheet, which must be covered with paper.
Lubricate the bagels with a beaten egg on top and send them to the preheated oven. We bake the garlic bagels at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Done! You can treat your loved ones - I'm sure they will like it. Bon Appetit!
