Any berries will do, we already have strawberries on sale, so I was making a pie with them. You can also use apples, pears, apricots, canned pineapples, and any other fruit. The pie is simple and inexpensive - all the ingredients are very affordable, they are always in any refrigerator. Let's start cooking!
Ingredients:
berries / fruits
flour
oil
eggs
milk
sugar
soda
salt
First, I'll tell you about the berries. You can use both fresh and frozen. The number of berries is to your taste. If the berries are fresh, then we sort out (cut the strawberries in half), the frozen ones can not be defrosted.
Preparing the dough for our berry pie. In a bowl, beat 2 eggs and 1 glass of sugar. If the eggs are small, then I recommend taking three pieces. Add a pinch of salt, and pour in half a glass of vegetable oil.
Immediately a disclaimer about vegetable oil. Don't be alarmed! The vegetable oil in the cake is not felt at all, but thanks to it it turns out juicy. If half a glass is too much for you, then add a third of the glass.
Then add one glass of milk and put in two glasses of flour or a little more, depending on which glass you have. Stir until smooth and put the dough in a mold greased with vegetable or butter.
If desired, you can add a little vanilla sugar or vanillin to the dough. And if you are making an apple pie, you can add cinnamon. In general, you can experiment with tastes.
We lay out berries or pieces of fruit on top and send them to the preheated oven. The pie is cooked for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees. You can sprinkle it on top with powdered sugar. Bon appetit, friends!
