I learned how to pickle cabbage with mustard. I share my new recipe

Now I only use this recipe for pickled cabbage. It turns out to be crispy, spicy, delicious! And the whole secret is that I add mustard. I share the recipe with all my heart, be sure to write it down or keep it for yourself so as not to lose it.

Ingredients:

cabbage
carrot
onion
mustard
vinegar
salt
sugar
oil

We need 1 kg of cabbage. Shred it thinly. On a coarse grater or on a grater for Korean salads, rub one carrot. Chop one onion into small cubes.

Combine the chopped vegetables, mix and leave them as they are.

Let's prepare the marinade. Mix 5-6 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 2.5 tablespoons of sugar, 0.5 tablespoons of salt and 65 ml of vinegar 9%. Then add the secret ingredient - mustard powder, we need 1/3 tablespoon of it.

We are waiting for the marinade to boil, and cook it over low heat for 3-5 minutes. Then pour vegetables with hot marinade, mix and leave at room temperature for about 2 hours, periodically stirring cabbage with vegetables.

Then we transfer the cabbage to a dry clean jar and put it in the refrigerator. After 3-5 days, the delicious pickled cabbage will be ready. As a snack, it flies away very quickly. I also add a little it to the cabbage soup to fresh cabbage, it turns out also delicious.

Such cabbage is well stored in the refrigerator, while it does not lose its taste. You can store the snack for up to three months. Bon appetit, dear friends!
