So simple and so delicious! I want to share a recipe for delicious and satisfying puff pastry envelopes. The recipe is very simple, the envelopes are cooked in the oven for only 25-30 minutes. I recommend writing down the recipe so as not to lose it.
Ingredients:
puff pastry
chicken fillet
mushrooms (I have champignons)
cheese
eggs
vegetable oil
salt
spice
greens
So, we need 2 layers of puff pastry (one pack). While the dough is thawing, prepare the filling. Cook until cooked 200 grams of chicken fillet. For this, both breast and meat from the legs are suitable - in general, it makes no difference.
As soon as the meat is ready, cut it into small pieces and fry in a pan in vegetable oil along with the mushrooms. Mushrooms will need about 250g, we cut them into plates.
When the fried mushrooms with chicken have cooled down a little, add 150g of grated cheese to them, salt and pepper to taste. Add chopped greens if desired. Mix - and the filling for our envelope pies is ready.
Now roll out the dough, cut it into squares, lay out the filling and wrap it in an "envelope". By the way, you can make one big pie - it will also be delicious, but our family likes it more with envelopes.
Put the resulting pies on a greased baking sheet at a distance from each other. Grease with a beaten egg on top, you can also sprinkle with sesame seeds and send to a preheated oven.
The pies are cooked at a temperature of 170 degrees for about 25-30 minutes. They are especially tasty when hot. Bon appetit, friends!
