If you are tired of the "Mimosa" salad, then I suggest replacing it with an equally tasty salad. The festive table will be just perfect! Its composition is similar to "Mimosa", it differs from this salad in only one ingredient. But the taste is completely different. Highly recommend!
Preparation:
First, let's prepare the ingredients for the salad. Cook until tender 3 potatoes and 1-2 carrots, depending on the size. You also need to hard-boil 5-6 eggs.
This salad is flaky. Between the layers - mayonnaise, or a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream in equal proportions - in general, as you like. I almost always use only mayonnaise in all salads.
So, the first layer is half of the grated potatoes, a layer of mayonnaise.
The second layer is champignons fried with onions. It will take about 200-250g of mushrooms. We spread not all the mushrooms, but only half.
The third layer is again potatoes, grease with mayonnaise on top.
The fourth layer is the remaining mushrooms with onions.
The fifth layer is grated carrots, mayonnaise.
Sixth layer - grated egg whites, a thin layer of mayonnaise
The seventh layer is egg yolks, crushed into crumbs.
As you can see, instead of canned fish, this salad contains fried champignons with onions. And if you want the classic "Mimosa", then just take this recipe and replace the mushrooms with canned pink salmon or saury.
We send the salad for 2 hours in the refrigerator, and then on top it can be decorated with a sprig of herbs and served. It turns out very tasty! Give it a try, I'm sure you and your guests will love it. Bon appetit, friends!
