Today I cooked such delicious puff pastries. They are green onion, unsweetened, so such cakes can be an excellent substitute for bread. The husband is very fond of eating them with borsch, instead of donuts. The recipe is worthy of your attention!

Ingredients:

Flour
Water
Salt
Vegetable oil
Green onions

As you can see, the set of ingredients is minimal, the recipe is from the budget category, because it does not require large expenses. All products are always at hand, so you can prepare these flat cakes at any time. By the way, they are called "Chinese".

Preparing the dough for the tortillas. We take 600 g of sifted flour, add half a teaspoon of salt (well, or to taste), add 400 ml of warm water and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Knead the soft dough and leave it to "rest" for 15 minutes, covering it with a towel or napkin. Meanwhile, chop a bunch of green onions.

Now we cut the dough into several parts - according to the number of cakes. If you make small ones, then cut into 6-10 parts, you can also into 4 parts - then the cakes will turn out to be large.

Roll out each part approximately 5 mm thick. Lubricate the surface on one side with vegetable oil (it is very convenient to use silicone brush), sprinkle with green onions, roll into a tube, then into a snail and again roll out. For clarity, I attach a photo:

Immediately fry the finished cakes in vegetable oil in a pan. Tortillas are fried quickly - literally 2-3 minutes on each side.

Due to the fact that we rolled them in different ways and due to lubrication with vegetable oil, the cakes are flaky. They are most delicious hot, so eat them right away. Bon appetit, friends!
