Strawberry jam I always get very tasty, aromatic - just a delight! For many years I have been preparing it according to this recipe, which is called "Pyatiminutka". I share my recipe with you, take it!
Ingredients:

Note: for 1 kg of strawberries you need 800 g of sugar
We sort out the strawberries, remove the petioles and rinse. If there are places that are rotten and bitten by insects, then we cut them off, or even throw out such berries altogether. Spread the washed strawberries evenly on a towel to dry them a little.
Then we take a basin or a large saucepan and lay out the berries, sprinkling them with sugar - a layer of strawberries, a layer of sugar. You do not need to stir, cover the basin / pan with gauze or a towel and put it in the refrigerator for 5-8 hours, you can overnight.
Now we put the berries on the stove over low heat. At this point, the sugar has dissolved, and juice began to stand out. After boiling, cook over low heat for 5 minutes, sometimes stirring with a wooden spatula. Then the jam must be completely cooled.
As soon as it cools down, you need to repeat the process again: cook after boiling for 5 minutes, then cool. And then do the same for the third time. After that, we lay out the jam in sterilized jars and roll up.
The jam is cooked three times for 5 minutes, that's why it is called "Five-minute". Very aromatic and tasty! Try it)) Bon appetit, friends!
