Every year I use this recipe to roll pepper. The appetizer is just great! For meat, barbecue, boiled potatoes, and in general it goes well with any dishes. Prepare this pepper - very simple and delicious!

Ingredients:

Pepper
Onion
Salt
Sugar
Vinegar
Bay leaf
Mustard seeds
Black peppercorns

We need about 1.5 kg of bell pepper. We clean it from the stalks and seeds, cut into 4-6 parts.

Shred 2 large onions with thick rings or half rings. If you want to add spice, then slice a hot chili pepper to taste.

Pour water into a saucepan, add a pinch of salt. As soon as it boils, add the chopped bell pepper. Bring to a boil again and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then we put the peppers in a colander.

Put peppers and onions in jars, and fill with marinade. Prepare the marinade as follows: pour 1 liter of water into a saucepan, add 1 level tablespoon of salt, 4 tablespoons of sugar.

Then add 1-2 bay leaves, 5 black peppercorns, 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds to the marinade, you can also add coriander.

As soon as it boils, pour in 250 ml of vinegar 8%, mix and pour the resulting marinade in pepper and onions. Cover the jars with lids, sterilize for 20-25 minutes over low heat, then roll up.

Delicious pickled peppers with onions are ready for the winter. We store the jars in a cool dark place. Bon appetit, dear friends!
