You can't pull off this snack! Delicious! I am sharing my new recipe: tomatoes in bell pepper and garlic sauce with herbs! I sincerely advise you to try, especially since the season of fresh vegetables is in full swing now!
Ingredients:
Tomatoes
Bulgarian pepper
Garlic
Greens
Salt
Sugar
Spices (paprika and black pepper)
Vegetable oil
For this snack we need good ripe tomatoes, take 500-600 gr. My tomatoes, wipe dry and cut into slices or circles - whatever you want. Just don't cut too thin, otherwise the porridge will turn out.
Cooking the sauce. We need 1 large bell pepper. We cut it into several parts and interrupt with a blender to the state of a kashitsa. If there is no blender, then scroll through a meat grinder. The consistency will turn out, of course, a little different, but it will still be tasty.
Add to the pepper 4-5 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1.5-2 teaspoons of sugar, 4 chopped garlic cloves, and finely chopped greens.
You can add a little spice to the sauce to taste, I only have black ground pepper. If the husband prepares this appetizer, then he also likes to add a little sweet paprika.
Now we put the tomatoes in a glass or plastic container, pouring them with bell pepper sauce. We close the lid and put it in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours, it is possible overnight.
Well, it turns out just fantastic! If you don't eat everything at once, then these tomatoes will be even tastier the next day. Bon appetit, dear friends!
