For lunch, I like to serve a light salad based on vegetables, sometimes with the addition of chicken meat - the option is always a win-win, everyone is happy with the result, since there are no special specific components here used.
So, I propose to put on the agenda a salad with bell pepper and chicken - fresh and very beautiful, tasty, nutritious and healthy. By itself, the combination of sweet pepper and poultry meat is excellent, and adding a couple of three additional ingredients, we will only make the taste better.
You can even serve a salad for a festive table; there are always lovers of such versions of dishes.
Ingredients:
Boiled chicken - 150 g
Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.
Lettuce leaves - 4-5 pcs.
Cucumbers - 2 pcs.
Bulb onions - 0.5 pcs.
Tomatoes - 1 pc.
Salt, pepper, herbs - to taste
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Description of the cooking process:
1. Prepare ingredients according to the list.
2. Wash the lettuce leaves under a small stream of running cool water, then dry them slightly. Tear into arbitrary pieces. In addition to them, you can add any greens that you like.
3. Sweet aromatic peppers need to be cut lengthwise. The vegetable is quite fleshy and thick-walled, the veins must be cut out by removing the seeds. Rinse the halves, dry, cut into strips. Add the peppers to the salad leaves in a bowl.
4. Wash juicy ripe tomato, dry it, cut out the place of growth of the stalk. Cut into small cubes or any desired chunks. Peel and rinse the onion, dry, cut into half rings. Add everything to a bowl.
5. Wash fresh cucumbers, cut tails and be sure to check for bitterness. If everything is in order, cut them into plates, load them into a salad bowl.
6. Boil or bake the chicken in advance. Any part of the carcass can be. After cooking, separate the meat from the bone and chop not very coarsely, add to a bowl.
7. Season the salad with lime juice, butter, salt and pepper, stir and serve.
