Finally, the New Year's holidays have come to an end, leaving behind long frequent gatherings with friends and relatives at the table. And, of course, it was not without frills, a lot of very tasty and not very healthy things were eaten, and the scales begin to show those numbers that I would not like to see.
This salad helps me get in shape, all because it contains both protein and fiber, which is what I need.
I had half a homemade chicken breast fillet, which I cut into small pieces and marinated in soy sauce (2-3 tbsp. spoons) with the addition of one tablespoon of olive oil and dry garlic. The meat should be marinated for at least an hour, but I left it in the refrigerator for a day.
Next, in a dry frying pan, I fried the pieces of breast and simmer under a closed lid until tender. While the chicken was stewing in a pan, I boiled three eggs.
Now you can "collect" the whole salad. I washed the lettuce leaves well and dried them with a paper towel, cut them into small pieces. I cut the eggs into cubes.
Then you can add any raw vegetable, bell pepper, cucumber, I only had a tomato in the refrigerator.
And the last thing I like to add to this kind of salads is red sweet onions, cut as thin as possible. Sometimes, like this time, I add sesame seeds, it is a powerful source of calcium.
