I want to share the recipe tasty incredible, awesome and sooooo delicious Anzac cookies. And why didn’t I come across this recipe before? I cooked it only once and the recipe immediately flew into my piggy bank, so much my family liked it.
Anzac cookies are very easy to prepare. I mix the following dry ingredients in equal proportions: oatmeal, wheat flour, and coconut.
I mix everything well until smooth. And here I am making a slight deviation from the recipe. In the original version, 1 glass of sugar is indicated, in my opinion this is too much, so I add only half. Also, the zest of one orange is sent to the dough (can be replaced with a lemon).
Next, melt 100 grams of butter over medium heat and add 1-2 tablespoons of honey. Pour one teaspoon of soda with two tablespoons of boiling water and stir well, it confused me a little, because I had never extinguished soda like this before, but decided to try it. We send soda to butter with honey.
A little foam rises. Now, while the mass is hot, we send it to the dry ingredients and mix well with a spatula.
The resulting mass is well molded into a lump.
Now we form balls from the dough and place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper at a sufficiently large distance, as the cookies will "grow".
We send it to an oven preheated to 160 degrees for approximately 10-12 minutes. The biscuits should be well gilded.
An important point: after the cookies are taken out of the oven, they should be allowed to cool on a baking sheet and not disturbed.
If you have not tried such cookies yet, I highly recommend trying to make them, I am sure that many will really like them.
